Step 2: Understand the Three Layers of Search-Driven Affiliate Marketing

In my course, I break this approach into three distinct layers. I want you to understand each one before we get tactical, because the students who skip this section are always the ones who get stuck two weeks later.
Layer 1 — Intent matching. When someone searches, they have a specific need. Your job is to figure out what that need is and write content that addresses it directly. Not vaguely. Not in a roundabout way. Directly.

Step 3: Run Your First Keyword Research Session

Okay, now we get into the hands-on work. This is where the rubber meets the road in my curriculum.
Open an incognito browser window. Incognito matters because your personal search history skews the suggestions. Then start typing queries related to AI APIs into Google. Do not type the whole thing — pause at each step and write down every auto-suggestion that appears.
