Set aside 15 to 20 minutes once a week to review your balances, upcoming bills, recent spending, and progress toward your priority. Keep the meeting short and practical. You are not conducting a courtroom trial about every purchase.
Use three questions:

- Did any spending surprise me?
- What is one useful decision I can make now?
