1.Introduction
The CMCU-06A is a three-in-one single-channel RS485 strain gauge transmitter launched by Shenzhen RunesKee Technology Co., Ltd. It supports switching between single-bridge/half-bridge/full-bridge configurations and has been optimized to significantly reduce the temperature-induced drift common in single-bridge setups, greatly enhancing cost-effectiveness and practicality. This version is highly stable, reliable, and offers excellent value for money. It is suitable for industrial and equipment control, sensor data acquisition, and other scenarios requiring RS485 serial communication with devices.

The software includes a graph display function in the top-left corner, where you can view pressure curves.
Multiple transmitters can be networked to display multiple pressure curves, with support for up to 10 curves simultaneously.
3.5 Calibration and Usage:
3.5.1 Measuring microstrain με
If measuring microstrain, simply select the bridge circuit, resistance value, and corresponding bonding method in the microstrain column, then save the parameters to start collecting strain gauge data.
Additionally, regarding the strain gauge bonding method, the requirements are very strict. Non-professionals may produce inconsistent data, in which case the strain gauge should be reapplied before measurement. The data output by the transmitter is collected from the strain gauge signal terminals. If data is abnormal, check the strain gauge. The lead length should not be too long, as the cable itself may introduce signal interference and attenuation. Gradual data increase or decrease may be due to temperature effects, which can be ignored. When significant deformation occurs, the data will change exponentially.
3.5.2 Measuring other deformations, strains, or pressures
For measuring other deformations, strains, or pressures, data calibration is required for the specific application scenario.
Calibration method:
When a pressure sensor/strain gauge sensor is first connected to the transmitter module, calibration is mandatory before normal use. Calibration consists of two main steps: zero-point calibration and calibration scaling.
Step 1: Disable write protection (if already disabled, this step can be skipped).
Step 2: Zero-point calibration: Remove all objects from the weighing pan, then send the zero-point calibration command to permanently save the current AD value as the zero point (initial value).
Step 3: Calibration scaling: Place a standard weight on the pan (the weight should not be too light, preferably exceeding 20% of the range), input the weight value, and send the weight calibration command. Calibration is complete when the module returns data matching or closely approximating the weight value. If unsatisfactory, repeat the weight calibration command.
