How I Architected a VS Code-Style Plugin System for an Electron WhatsApp Client

I've been building SmartChat — an open-source WhatsApp desktop client — and the
most interesting engineering challenge was designing a plugin system where both
internal features and external plugins consume identical APIs. Here's what the
